Mannosidase is a widely used exoglycosidase enzyme in glycobiology. α-1,6-mannosidase from Solitalea canadensis catalyzes the hydrolysis of α1,6 linked D-Mannopyranosyl residues from unbranched oligosaccharide sidechains.
For life science research only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Enzyme/substrate ratio should be in the range of 0.04 U/25-80 μg.
Cleaves terminal α1,6 linked D-Mannopyranosyl residues from unbranched oligosaccharide sidechains.
500 μL α-1,6-mannosidase will contain 0.2 M sodium chloride, 0.3 M imidazole, 10% (v/v) glycerol and 0.1 M MES buffer, pH 6.5.
